01General Presentation

The NETSTAT One is a slim, full-size wireless keyboard (with numeric keypad) and quiet low-profile keys.

It connects to 3 devices at the same time: two over Bluetooth 5.0 (channels BT-1 and BT-2) and one through the 2.4G nano USB receiver. You switch between them instantly with a single key combination. 1000 Hz response rate, USB Type-C rechargeable battery, dedicated Windows, Mac and Android modes.

02Connection — 3 channels: BT-1, BT-2 and 2.4G

The keyboard has 3 connection "slots", printed right on the keys under the numbers: BT-1 on key 1, BT-2 on key 2 and 2.4G on key 3. Each slot remembers one device.

You can have, for example, your laptop on BT-1, your phone on BT-2 and your desktop PC on 2.4G — all three paired at the same time. The keyboard types on the channel currently selected, and you switch with FN + 1 / 2 / 3.

  1. 1TURN THE KEYBOARD ON: the ON/OFF switch is on the top-right edge of the case, next to the LED indicators. Set it to ON — a small red area shows when it is on.
  2. 22.4G CHANNEL (easiest, for PC/laptop): take the nano USB receiver out of the box and plug it into a USB port. Briefly press FN + 3 (the key with "2.4G" under the number). Done — the keyboard types within seconds, no drivers, no install.
  3. 3BT-1 CHANNEL (first Bluetooth device): press and hold FN + 1 (the key marked "BT-1") for about 3 seconds, until the indicator starts blinking fast. Fast blinking means "I am visible, find me".
  4. 4On the laptop/phone open Settings → Bluetooth, wait for "NETSTAT One" (or "Keyboard") to appear in the list and tap it. If the system asks for a code, type the digits shown on screen on this keyboard and press Enter.
  5. 5The indicator stops blinking = connected. Type something to check.
  6. 6BT-2 CHANNEL (second Bluetooth device): exactly the same steps, but holding FN + 2 for 3 seconds — and pair from the second device (your phone, for instance), not from the first one.
FN + 1
BT-1 channel — SHORT press = switch to the already paired device; HOLD ~3s = enter pairing (indicator blinks fast)
FN + 2
BT-2 channel — SHORT press = switch; HOLD ~3s = enter pairing
FN + 3
2.4G channel (nano USB receiver) — SHORT press = switch; HOLD ~3s = re-pair with the receiver

Pairing is done once per channel. After that the keyboard remembers the device: a short FN + 1 / 2 / 3 press is enough to jump between them any time.

Do NOT hold FN + 1 if you only want to switch! Held for 3 seconds, the channel enters pairing and drops the device saved on it — you would have to pair again. To switch, press SHORTLY and release immediately.

03How to switch from BT-1 to BT-2 (and back)

Switching is instant and deletes nothing — the devices stay paired on their channels. Below, the classic example: you are typing on the laptop (BT-1) and want to reply to a message on the phone (BT-2).

  1. 1Press FN + 2 SHORTLY and release immediately (do not hold).
  2. 2Wait 1–3 seconds — the keyboard reconnects to the phone. On some phones it can take up to 5 seconds.
  3. 3Type a letter to confirm. If it still does not type, press FN + 2 shortly once more.
  4. 4Back to the laptop: press FN + 1 shortly. To the computer with the USB receiver: press FN + 3 shortly.

If you switch to a channel with nothing paired on it, the keyboard types nowhere — it is not faulty. Press the correct channel shortly to come back, or hold 3 seconds to pair a new device on that channel. The same happens if the device on that channel is off, has Bluetooth disabled, or is too far away (over ~10 m).

04OS mode — Windows, Mac or Android

The keyboard has 3 OS modes, printed right on the Q, W and E keys. The mode matches the modifier keys to the system you are using — that is why the bottom row is labelled with both variants: Ctrl / Control, ⌘ Win / command, ⌥ Alt / Option.

FN + W
Windows mode (default)
FN + E
Mac mode — ⌘ command and ⌥ option, like an Apple keyboard
FN + Q
Android mode — for Android phones and tablets

Set the mode after switching to that device: if BT-1 is a Mac and BT-2 an Android phone, press FN + 1 then FN + E, and FN + 2 then FN + Q respectively.

05Key Combinations (FN)

The F1–F12 row carries the media functions as small icons under the key name. Hold FN and press the key. Without FN, F1–F12 work normally as function keys.

06LED Indicators and the ON/OFF Switch

  • The ON/OFF switch is on the top-right edge of the keyboard. On OFF the keyboard is completely off and draws no battery — use it when putting it in a bag.
  • Indicator "1" — Num Lock: on = the keypad types digits; off = the keypad does navigation (arrows, Home, End).
  • Indicator "A" — Caps Lock: on = you are typing in CAPITALS.
  • Battery indicator — blinks when the battery is low; while charging it stays lit and goes out when the battery is full.
  • During Bluetooth pairing the indicator blinks fast and goes out the moment the connection is made.
  • After a few minutes of inactivity the keyboard goes to stand-by to save battery. Press any key to wake it — the first keypress may not be typed.

07Battery and Charging

  • Li-Po 500 mAh battery (3.7 V, 1.85 Wh), rechargeable — it does not use AAA batteries.
  • Charge with the USB Type-C cable in the box: one end into the keyboard port, the other into a computer USB port or a phone charger.
  • A full charge takes around 2–3 hours. The battery indicator goes out when the battery is full.
  • You can keep typing (wirelessly) while it charges.
  • The USB-C cable is for charging only — typing happens on one of the 3 wireless channels (BT-1, BT-2 or 2.4G).
  • If you are not using the keyboard for a few days, set the switch to OFF — the battery lasts far longer.

10FAQ & Troubleshooting

Nu apare în lista Bluetooth
Hold FN + 1 (or FN + 2) for about 3 seconds, until the indicator blinks FAST — only then is the keyboard visible. Keep the phone/laptop under 1 m away while pairing.
Am comutat pe BT-2 și nu scrie nimic
No device is paired on that channel yet, or the device is off / has Bluetooth disabled / is too far. Press FN + 1 shortly to go back, or hold FN + 2 for 3s to pair a new device.
S-a conectat, dar prima literă nu se scrie
That is normal: the keyboard was in stand-by and the first keypress wakes it. Press the key again.
Nu merge pe 2.4G
Check the nano USB receiver in the computer and press FN + 3 shortly. Try another USB port; if you use a hub or extension, plug the receiver straight into the computer.
Scrie alte caractere decât cele de pe taste
It is the operating system layout, not the keyboard. Windows: Settings → Time & language → Language & region → pick the correct layout.
Pe Mac, tastele ⌘ și Alt sunt inversate
Press FN + E for Mac mode. On Windows use FN + W, on an Android phone/tablet FN + Q.
Blocul numeric scrie săgeți în loc de cifre
Press the Num Lock key (above the keypad). The "1" indicator must be lit.
Vreau să mut un dispozitiv de pe BT-1 pe BT-2
Delete "NETSTAT One" from the device's Bluetooth list, then hold FN + 2 for 3 seconds and pair again from that device.
Nu pornește / nu ține bateria
First check the ON/OFF switch on the top-right edge. Then charge it for 2–3 hours with the included USB-C cable — the battery indicator goes out when full.

11Where to find Bluetooth settings on a computer / phone

If this is your first time connecting something over Bluetooth, here is exactly where to click on each system. Do this AFTER you have put the product into pairing mode (the indicator is blinking).

Windows 11
Start → Settings → Bluetooth & devices → "Add device" → choose "Bluetooth" → click the product name in the list.
Windows 10
Start → Settings → Devices → Bluetooth & other devices → "Add Bluetooth or other device" → "Bluetooth" → click the product name.
macOS (MacBook, iMac)
Apple menu () top-left → System Settings → Bluetooth → click "Connect" next to the product.
Android (telefon / tabletă)
Settings → Connected devices → "Pair new device" → tap the product name. (On Samsung: Settings → Connections → Bluetooth.)
iPhone / iPad
Settings → Bluetooth → make sure it is on → tap the product name under "Other devices".

If the product does not show up: 1) check that the indicator really is blinking (if not, repeat the pairing combination); 2) keep the product under 1 metre away; 3) turn Bluetooth off and on again on the computer/phone; 4) turn off other nearby Bluetooth devices trying to connect at the same time.

12Typing different symbols than printed? (keyboard language)

If you press Y and Z appears, or the quotes and symbols do not come out where they are printed, the keyboard is NOT faulty. It is the language setting in the computer, which tells the system which keyboard it thinks you have.

The keyboard has standard Latin letters (QWERTY). Which symbol each press produces is decided by the operating system.

Comută rapid între limbi
Windows: hold the Windows key and press the Space bar (or left Alt + Shift). Mac: Ctrl + Space bar.
Adaugă limba română (Windows 11)
Settings → Time & language → Language & region → Add a language → "Romanian". For ă î â ș ț choose the "Romanian (Standard)" variant.
Vrei semnele exact ca pe taste
Choose the "English (United States)" layout — then every symbol comes out exactly where it is printed on the keyboard.
Scrie DOAR cu majuscule
Press the Caps Lock key once. The "A" indicator should go out.

13Technical Words, in Plain Language

If you came across a word in this manual that you do not know, here it is explained simply. You do not need to memorise them — just look here when you need to.

Receptor (dongle) 2.4G
The small piece of plastic that goes into the computer's USB port. It talks wirelessly to the product. Without it the 2.4G mode does not work — but the product still works over Bluetooth, if it has it.
2.4G
A wireless mode that needs the receiver from the box. Upside: works instantly, no setup, and is the most stable. Downside: it uses a USB port and you need the receiver.
Bluetooth
A wireless mode that does NOT need a receiver — it connects straight to a laptop, phone or tablet. The first time it must be "paired"; after that it reconnects on its own.
Asociere (pairing)
The one-time introduction between the product and the device. The product makes itself "visible" (the indicator blinks), you pick it from the Bluetooth list, and from then on they know each other.
USB-C (Type-C)
The small oval plug that goes in either way up — the same as on modern phones. USB-A is the classic rectangular plug.
Stand-by (adormire)
After a few minutes of no use the product "falls asleep" so it does not drain the battery. It wakes on the first press or movement — that is why the first action is sometimes not registered. It is not a fault.
Tasta FN
The key that opens the keyboard's "second floor". Held down, the keys do something other than their big printed label — exactly what is drawn in small type.
Switch mecanic
Each key has its own physical spring-loaded switch. Hence the clear feel on press, the characteristic sound and a life of millions of presses.
Tastatură cu membrană
Under the keys there is a rubber membrane making the contact. The press is softer and far quieter than mechanical — suited to offices and shared spaces.
Anti-ghosting
You can hold several keys at once and all of them register correctly. It matters in games, where you hold move + jump + something else together.
Layout 60% / TKL / full-size
How big the keyboard is. Full-size has everything, including the number pad on the right. TKL has no number pad. 60% has neither the number pad nor a separate F1–F12 row — those come via FN.
Num Lock
Switches the right-hand number pad between "types digits" and "navigates" (arrows, Home, End). If you press 4 and the cursor moves left, press Num Lock.

14Safety — Read Once

  • Do not take the product apart or try to repair it yourself — you void the warranty and you could get hurt.
  • Keep it away from water, moisture and extreme temperatures (direct sun in a car, radiator, oven).
  • Do not leave it within reach of very small children: small parts (the USB receiver, caps) can be swallowed.
  • Use it only with the accessories from the box or good-quality equivalents.
  • The battery is a built-in Li-Po. Do not pierce it, burn it or submerge it in water.
  • Charge only with an ordinary phone cable and charger (5V). Do not use high-power or improvised chargers.
  • If the product swells, gets very hot while charging or smells odd, stop charging immediately and contact us.
  • Products with batteries must not go in household waste — take them to a WEEE collection point (most large stores have one).
