01General Presentation
The NETSTAT Slim mouse is a thin office and travel mouse with a silent click — you feel the press but barely hear it. Ideal at the office, in a library, in meetings or late at night next to someone asleep.
It connects in two ways: over Bluetooth (straight to a laptop, tablet or phone, no receiver) or over 2.4G with the receiver from the box. The box contains two receivers — a USB-A one for classic computers and a USB-C one for modern laptops without the rectangular USB port. Built-in battery recharged over USB-C, plus a carry pouch.
02What's in the Box
- 1× NETSTAT Slim mouse
- 1× 2.4G nano USB-A receiver
- 1× USB-C receiver / adapter
- 1× Carry pouch
- 1× User manual
03Connection — 2.4G or Bluetooth
On the underside of the mouse there is a mode button to choose between 2.4G (with receiver) and Bluetooth (no receiver). Pick one mode — the mouse works on one at a time, not both.
- 12.4G MODE (easiest, for a computer): pick the receiver that matches your port — the USB-A one for a classic rectangular port, the USB-C one for a modern laptop. Plug it into the computer.
- 2Turn the mouse over and set the mode button to 2.4G. Put the mouse on the desk and move it — the cursor starts within seconds, no drivers, no install.
- 3BLUETOOTH MODE (for a laptop, tablet or phone, no receiver): turn the mouse over and set the mode button to BT. The indicator starts blinking — the mouse is in pairing. If it does not blink, hold the button for about 3 seconds.
- 4On the laptop/tablet open Settings → Bluetooth, wait for "NETSTAT" (or "Mouse") to appear in the list and tap it.
- 5The indicator stops blinking = connected. Move the mouse to check.
- 6To go back to the computer with the receiver, set the mode button to 2.4G again.
The two receivers are for different ports and are not used at the same time: pick the one that fits your computer. Keep the other in the pouch — handy when you change laptops.
04Buttons and Cursor Speed (DPI)
- Left and right click — silent, with a clear press but almost no noise.
- The wheel — scroll up/down; pressed, it works as the middle button (opens links in a new tab).
- The small button under the wheel — changes the cursor speed (DPI). Press it briefly and move the mouse: each press steps to another speed level, and after the last one it starts over.
- Pick a low level for precision (photo editing, drawing) and a high level for large screens or dual monitors.
- The mode button on the underside — switches between 2.4G and Bluetooth (see the Connection section).
05Battery and Charging
- The mouse has a built-in rechargeable battery — no AA or AAA batteries, and you never need to buy any.
- It charges over the USB-C port: plug a USB-C cable into a computer or a phone charger. You can keep using the mouse while it charges.
- The indicator blinks when the battery is low. A full charge usually takes 2–3 hours.
- If the mouse stops responding entirely, the first thing to try is charging it for 30 minutes and then switching it back on.
- To save power the mouse goes to stand-by on its own when unused; a click or a movement wakes it.
06Usage & Care Tips
- Use it on a matte, even surface. On glass, mirrors or glossy tops the optical sensor "loses" the surface — put a sheet of paper or a mousepad under it.
- Clean the feet and the sensor lens with a soft dry cloth. Dust around the sensor makes the cursor jump.
- Wipe the shell with a slightly damp cloth — no solvents, strong alcohol or abrasives.
- When travelling, put the mouse and the receiver in the pouch from the box — the nano receiver is very easy to lose in a bag.
- Keep it away from moisture and direct heat (radiator, car dashboard in summer), and do not drop it on tiles.
07FAQ & Troubleshooting
- Nu se mișcă deloc cursorul
- Check the mode button under the mouse (2.4G or BT) and charge the mouse for 30 minutes over USB-C. Then, on 2.4G, unplug and replug the receiver.
- Nu apare în lista Bluetooth
- Set the mode button to BT and, if the indicator does not blink, hold the button ~3 seconds. Keep the laptop under 1 m away while pairing.
- Cursorul sare sau se mișcă în salturi
- Change the surface (not glass or glossy) and clean the sensor lens underneath. On 2.4G, move the receiver to another port, away from USB 3.0 hubs that cause interference.
- Am pierdut receptorul USB
- The mouse can still be used over Bluetooth: set the mode button to BT and pair it. The 2.4G receiver is paired to this mouse and cannot be replaced by another one.
- Clickul nu e chiar mut
- The click is "silent", not completely soundless: the press is heard very faintly, like a dull tick. The wheel, however, keeps its normal scrolling sound.
- Receptorul USB-C nu intră în calculator
- Use the USB-A receiver (the rectangular one) — the two are for different ports. Pick the one that fits your computer's port.
08Where to find Bluetooth settings on a computer / phone
If this is your first time connecting something over Bluetooth, here is exactly where to click on each system. Do this AFTER you have put the product into pairing mode (the indicator is blinking).
- Windows 11
- Start → Settings → Bluetooth & devices → "Add device" → choose "Bluetooth" → click the product name in the list.
- Windows 10
- Start → Settings → Devices → Bluetooth & other devices → "Add Bluetooth or other device" → "Bluetooth" → click the product name.
- macOS (MacBook, iMac)
- Apple menu () top-left → System Settings → Bluetooth → click "Connect" next to the product.
- Android (telefon / tabletă)
- Settings → Connected devices → "Pair new device" → tap the product name. (On Samsung: Settings → Connections → Bluetooth.)
- iPhone / iPad
- Settings → Bluetooth → make sure it is on → tap the product name under "Other devices".
If the product does not show up: 1) check that the indicator really is blinking (if not, repeat the pairing combination); 2) keep the product under 1 metre away; 3) turn Bluetooth off and on again on the computer/phone; 4) turn off other nearby Bluetooth devices trying to connect at the same time.
09Technical Words, in Plain Language
If you came across a word in this manual that you do not know, here it is explained simply. You do not need to memorise them — just look here when you need to.
- Receptor (dongle) 2.4G
- The small piece of plastic that goes into the computer's USB port. It talks wirelessly to the product. Without it the 2.4G mode does not work — but the product still works over Bluetooth, if it has it.
- 2.4G
- A wireless mode that needs the receiver from the box. Upside: works instantly, no setup, and is the most stable. Downside: it uses a USB port and you need the receiver.
- Bluetooth
- A wireless mode that does NOT need a receiver — it connects straight to a laptop, phone or tablet. The first time it must be "paired"; after that it reconnects on its own.
- Asociere (pairing)
- The one-time introduction between the product and the device. The product makes itself "visible" (the indicator blinks), you pick it from the Bluetooth list, and from then on they know each other.
- USB-C (Type-C)
- The small oval plug that goes in either way up — the same as on modern phones. USB-A is the classic rectangular plug.
- Stand-by (adormire)
- After a few minutes of no use the product "falls asleep" so it does not drain the battery. It wakes on the first press or movement — that is why the first action is sometimes not registered. It is not a fault.
- DPI
- Cursor speed. Low DPI = the cursor moves slowly and precisely (good for drawing and photo editing). High DPI = the cursor flies across the screen (good for large or dual monitors).
- Senzor optic
- The "eye" under the mouse that reads the surface to know how far you moved. That is why it does not work well on glass or glossy tops — it has nothing to read.
- Polling rate (Hz)
- How many times per second the mouse tells the computer where it is. Higher = faster response. It matters in games; at the office you will not feel the difference.
- Click silențios
- The press feels normal but the sound is far quieter than on an ordinary mouse — a dull tick, not a sharp click. It does not mean completely silent.
10Safety — Read Once
- Do not take the product apart or try to repair it yourself — you void the warranty and you could get hurt.
- Keep it away from water, moisture and extreme temperatures (direct sun in a car, radiator, oven).
- Do not leave it within reach of very small children: small parts (the USB receiver, caps) can be swallowed.
- Use it only with the accessories from the box or good-quality equivalents.
- The battery is a built-in Li-Po. Do not pierce it, burn it or submerge it in water.
- Charge only with an ordinary phone cable and charger (5V). Do not use high-power or improvised chargers.
- If the product swells, gets very hot while charging or smells odd, stop charging immediately and contact us.
- Products with batteries must not go in household waste — take them to a WEEE collection point (most large stores have one).
