01General Presentation

The NETQEN AS121 automatic dispenser releases soap without being touched: bring your hand close to the nozzle, an infrared sensor detects it and the dispenser delivers the set amount. Nobody presses a soap-covered pump any more — which is why it fits kitchens, bathrooms, clinics and shared spaces.

The tank has a vertical window showing how much soap is left. It runs on an internal battery recharged with the USB-C cable from the box, and the box also includes an adhesive wall mount if you prefer it on the wall instead of the counter.

03Filling with Soap

The top part of the dispenser (the cap with the nozzle and sensor) twists off the tank — the open-padlock → closed-padlock symbol on the body shows you the direction.

1. 1Twist the top part in the direction shown by the open-padlock symbol and lift it off the tank.
2. 2Pour liquid soap or disinfectant gel into the tank without going past the maximum level — if you fill it to the brim, soap overflows when you put the cap back.
3. 3Put the cap back on and twist it the other way until it locks (closed-padlock symbol).
4. 4On first use, or after a full refill, pass your hand in front of the sensor 3–5 times: the pump has to draw the soap up the tube, so the first passes may come out empty. This is normal.

04Use and Dose Setting

• Turn the dispenser on from the button on the top cap. The indicator lights up — the dispenser is active.
• Bring your hand 5–10 cm under the nozzle, palm up. The sensor detects it and releases the soap within a second. You touch nothing.
• The soap amount is set from the same button: press it briefly to step from one dose to the next. The indicator on the cap shows the selected level.
• Pick the small dose for foaming soap or disinfectant gel, and the large dose for thick liquid soap or very dirty hands.
• After use the dispenser goes to standby on its own — you do not have to turn it off each time.
• If you move it, switch it off from the button: that way it does not trigger accidentally while you carry or clean it.

05On the Counter or on the Wall

1. 1ON THE COUNTER: place it on a flat, dry surface with the nozzle towards the sink. That is all — nothing else is needed.
2. 2ON THE WALL: pick a smooth, clean spot (tiles, glass, lacquered furniture). The adhesive mount does not hold on painted walls, plaster or porous surfaces.
3. 3Wipe the spot with alcohol or a cloth with detergent and let it dry completely — dust and grease are the number one reason mounts fall off.
4. 4Peel the film off the adhesive, press the mount into place and hold firmly for 30 seconds.
5. 5Wait at least 12 hours before putting the dispenser in the mount — the adhesive needs time to reach full strength.

06Charging

• The dispenser has an internal battery. Charge it with the USB-C cable from the box, plugged into a computer USB port or a phone charger.
• The indicator signals charging; when the battery is full the signal stops.
• In normal family use a charge lasts several weeks — it depends on how many doses it delivers per day.
• Take the dispenser out of the mount and wipe off any water before charging. Do not charge it in the bathroom, next to the sink, or with wet hands.
• If it stops responding to your hand entirely, the first thing to check is the charge, not the sensor.

07Cleaning and Care

• Wipe the nozzle once a week with a damp cloth — dried soap on the nozzle tip is the most common cause of "skipped" doses.
• Keep the sensor clean. A film of dried soap over the sensor makes it stop seeing your hand or, the other way round, trigger by itself.
• When you change soap type, rinse the tank with warm water and let the dispenser pump clean water until it runs clear — otherwise the old soap mixes in and can curdle.
• If you will not use it for a long time, empty the tank, wash it and leave it dry. Soap left in the tank for months hardens and blocks the pump.
• Do not submerge it in water or hold it under a running tap. Do not use vinegar, bleach, acetone or abrasive sponges on the housing.

09FAQ & Troubleshooting

Nu iese săpun, deși senzorul reacționează

Most likely the pump lost its prime (the tube emptied). Pass your hand in front of the sensor 5–10 times so the pump draws the soap up again. Also check the level in the tank.

Nu reacționează deloc la mână

First check that it is switched on and charge it over USB-C. Then wipe dried soap off the sensor with a damp cloth.

Se declanșează singur

The sensor "sees" something permanently: a drop of dried soap on the lens, an object left underneath, or a reflective surface very close. Clean the sensor and move the dispenser a few centimetres.

Iese prea puțin / prea mult săpun

Adjust the dose from the button on the cap — short presses step through the levels. If the soap is very thick, dilute it with a little water.

Curge săpun singur, fără să pun mâna

Check that you did not fill past the maximum level and that the cap is properly closed (closed-padlock symbol). If it is overfilled, pour some soap out.

Suportul de perete a căzut

The adhesive does not hold on painted or porous walls. Use it on tiles, glass or lacquered furniture, degrease the spot with alcohol before sticking, and wait 12 hours before adding the dispenser.

Pot pune gel dezinfectant?

Yes — the dispenser works with hand sanitiser gel, liquid soap and foaming soap. Do not use products with grains, baking soda or concentrated detergent.

10Technical Words, in Plain Language

If you came across a word in this manual that you do not know, here it is explained simply. You do not need to memorise them — just look here when you need to.

Receptor (dongle) 2.4G

The small piece of plastic that goes into the computer's USB port. It talks wirelessly to the product. Without it the 2.4G mode does not work — but the product still works over Bluetooth, if it has it.

2.4G

A wireless mode that needs the receiver from the box. Upside: works instantly, no setup, and is the most stable. Downside: it uses a USB port and you need the receiver.

Bluetooth

A wireless mode that does NOT need a receiver — it connects straight to a laptop, phone or tablet. The first time it must be "paired"; after that it reconnects on its own.

Asociere (pairing)

The one-time introduction between the product and the device. The product makes itself "visible" (the indicator blinks), you pick it from the Bluetooth list, and from then on they know each other.

USB-C (Type-C)

The small oval plug that goes in either way up — the same as on modern phones. USB-A is the classic rectangular plug.

Stand-by (adormire)

After a few minutes of no use the product "falls asleep" so it does not drain the battery. It wakes on the first press or movement — that is why the first action is sometimes not registered. It is not a fault.

Senzor infraroșu

The "eye" that sees your hand without touching it. It sends an invisible beam; when your hand breaks it, the dispenser starts. That is why it must be kept free of dried soap.

Amorsarea pompei

When the tank empties, air stays in the tube. The pump has to draw the soap back up — that is why the first 3–10 hand passes after a refill can come out empty.

Doză

The amount of soap released per hand pass. Set from the button: smaller for sanitiser gel, larger for thick soap.

11Safety — Read Once

• Do not take the product apart or try to repair it yourself — you void the warranty and you could get hurt.
• Keep it away from water, moisture and extreme temperatures (direct sun in a car, radiator, oven).
• Do not leave it within reach of very small children: small parts (the USB receiver, caps) can be swallowed.
• Use it only with the accessories from the box or good-quality equivalents.
• The battery is a built-in Li-Po. Do not pierce it, burn it or submerge it in water.
• Charge only with an ordinary phone cable and charger (5V). Do not use high-power or improvised chargers.
• If the product swells, gets very hot while charging or smells odd, stop charging immediately and contact us.
• Products with batteries must not go in household waste — take them to a WEEE collection point (most large stores have one).
• Do not put flammable liquids, acetone, bleach or harsh cleaning products in the tank — the dispenser is made for soap and sanitiser gel.
• Do not hold the dispenser under running water or submerge it: the top part contains electronics.

13Certificate of Warranty

• Warranty period: 2 years from the purchase date for hardware defects.
• Within 7 days: replacement if appearance and packaging are complete (with valid proof of purchase).
• Within 60 days: replacement at the point of purchase or the designated service centre.
